Video! My newest online activity... and it is about time!

It is about time I started working with video, because it is one of the most popular ways to share content on the internet. I would love to have my own video on all my lenses, rather than using someone else's. Unfortunately I'm still extremely amateur, but each time I put a video online, I learn something new. I have a lens about it - called Video Blogging for Beginners.

Recently I uploaded a 27-minute video piece (in four sections) for my local Chamber of Commerce. This is about our "Art & Treasure Hunt Weekend" we had on June 11 & 12, 2011. The Happy Camp, CA Chamber of Commerce sponsors this weekend for local people who want to have yard sales. I learned from this that (1) I need to remember to use my tripod to keep the camera still (sorry so shaky in parts!) and (2) my friends think I have a good voice for the interviews - something that surprised me! and (3) there are some very nice people around this town willing to be interviewed. How cool is that?

Here are the four videos:

I will post some of my other videos another time!
