Compare and Share - How many lenses do you have with lensrank under 200K?
I thought it would never happen to me - but that was long ago, before I had 100+ lenses. Now I'm finding some of my "sleeper" lenses are under 200K. I have eleven of them as of today!
I spent the 4th of July updating my lenses... over 100 of them in one day. And today I'm doing the rest. Now that I'm down to the bottom of the list I'm wondering whether I should delete some of these go-nowhere lenses. Why bother with lenses that are rarely looked at?
I'm going to update them today and see what happens. But still, I might delete a few. I have no need for them.

I think I would hang in there with those high ranking lenses. I too thought about deleting some...but then on another forum I was reading a discussion about this subject and several people made comments about the benefits of keeping those lenses. They don't really hurt anything...just don't give you a payout and often there are times during a year when some lenses are more popular than others. I have had lenses on my bottom one month rise to near the top the next...just because a topic becomes more popular...you never know and after all you've already invested time into the lens.
Just my thoughts....also with Squidoo growing in popularity...there is so much more competition for the higher rankings.
I have several in the 190K area.....none over 200k right now.

I am the proud owner of 14 lenses over 200k. I passionately believe they are all worthwhile and will have their day. I'm certainly not deleting any, as I'm going for 100. I'm sure I could do something to make them more visible and one day I will. I think you should hang on to yours Linda, I'm sure they must be quality lenses. In fact I will take a look.

I have eight over 200k, but a couple of them have been higher. To be truthful I cannot delete them at this point because I am working for 100Club. They are useful for that reason. Wow it is wonderful that some have none under 200k. I always have those hanging around. I have deleted one. My ebay lens. I closed that shop earlier this year. Three are challenge lenses which have been talked about in some forums.
A challenge lens can be a challenge for traffic.
I like to have a clean house so I will delete when the time comes.

I've definitely got some losers at the bottom that I no longer care to keep, but just like with throwing away clutter, it is hard to hit the delete key. I will probably keep the text in case I want to reuse it some way, some how.
I've still got seven lenses under 200K. Gotta update them, but since they're at the bottom of the list and get few visits, I've been holding off.
