Question
can anyone tell me, one of my lenses that was published in January has suddenly appeared as a work in progress - how come?

About me
aging hippy!
nurse, midwife, historian, therapist, writer, photographer and procrastinator.
I'm a Scot living in Yorkshire England and just enjoying exploring the beautiful countryside around here while indulging in my new hobby of photography.
I write non-fiction in the form of self-help and health related articles for the internet and have almost finished my first self-help book. In addition I enjoy dabbling in poetry and prose. I've retired as a nurse but still work as a holistic therapist.

Ann, I've never had that happen, but I heard there have been some strange glitches on Squidoo this week. Did you try to republish it? Does it have more than three modules? (I think there's some restriction on small lenses.) Anyhow, I doubt that applies to your lens. Let us know if republishing helps, and report this to HQ.

yes I did republish, it has more than 3 modules and I updated it... will report it now.
another question? Do you have to wait until Sept to get Giant Squid status? and
do we get any referral fees from Squidoo?
Giant Squid approvals happen only once every three months - and you have to apply ahead of time. Yes, I think Sept. is the next deadline. Check it out at SquidU.
Referral fees for Squidoo - only $5 and you don't get it until the other person earns their first $15 (I think)... in all the time I've been at Squidoo I've received only one referral fee, but I have about 100 people signed up under me that never bothered to actually make a lens! They have their contact links all turned off so I can't even write to encourage them to create something!

I read on SquidU that thousands of lenses were locked by accident (site glitch!!!) during the last week. You are not alone!
