About me

I am Christine, a wife, mother, grandmother. I have ‘lived in interesting times’ as the Chinese blessing wishes. A 1945 model, I class myself as being a member of the ‘baby boomer’ generation.
I have been a - Secretary; apprentice farmer’s new wife/shearers’ cook/general dogsbody; dairy farmer’s partner & general dogsbody; adoptive mother of 3 ‘special needs’ kids; Lifeline telephone counsellor; TAFE writing course ‘external’ student; palliative care trainee/practitioner; community care trainee/ careworker; ‘right hand’ of my beloved mother and mother-in-law in their last years; ALWAYS a craftperson ; and now at last, here at Squidoo.
